What Comes After

After I help a furry or feathery family member across the bridge there are three basic options for the family.

At home burial is viable but due to the presence of toxic medications in the body post-euthanasia they need to be buried 3-4 feet deep and not near any food producing plants. Also, for their own safety, prevent other animals and wildlife from accessing your pets remains.

Communal or Private cremation is also available for an additional fee and a basket, or stretcher will be brought into the home to carry the deceased safely to my car. They are held in a temperature-controlled area until the crematory picks them up and for private cremation ashes are typically returned within two weeks. Private cremation clients may pick up their baby’s ashes directly from the crematory, have them delivered to their house by a crematory driver, or have them sent via the mail to their home.

Note: NO ashes are returned for communal cremations. Pets are respectfully handled but cremated with other loved pets at the time of cremation. All ashes are then scattered in a private garden.
